I am Elvin Pineda, a creative artist and I decided to have my website MaartE because I believe in the power of sharing - "power is gained by sharing knowledge, and not by hoarding it", is the quotation to aptly put it.

 

Well to somehow elaborate on what I do...I craft and if I have my way, I'll DIY everything, I paint and draw, I cook and enjoy eating too, I grow plants and I adore flowers, I love decorating houses and I am obsessed with organization, sort of my OCD, lastly, I am crazy with balloons and gift wrapping. Oooops, I like doing events as well!

 

Here, I will share and feature not just the best of my work, but even the ones with flaws. I think whatever I bring in to, will have character and will seem to have a soul, owing to the "process" I am putting them through. Of course, I would keep on aiming for perfection, but if things aren't, I would try to look at them differently and begin to appreciate the imperfection. I value the learnings from all the mistakes, and along the journeys and experiences of creating, I get to discover more of myself and as with my artworks, I get refined too.
